K-Electric's football team departed the other day for Bangladesh to participate in the Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup scheduled to take place from the October 20- 30, 2015. The tournament includes eight teams from four nations which are India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan.
This is the second stage on the road to the Asian Federation Cup 2016, which will be held in January, and the winning team will become eligible to play in the final stage. K-Electric Football Club earned a spot in the tournament after emerging victorious in the pre-qualifiers at Bhutan, where they beat Mongolia's Khormomkhon FC. The team will be playing three matches in the group stages. The first match is scheduled for October 21st against India's Kingfisher East Bengal Club. Their next match will be on October 23rd against Bangladesh's Dhaka Abahani followed by another match against Chittagong Abahani on October 25th.-PR
