A member of local Peace Committee was killed and three others including a minor girl sustained injuries in a roadside bomb blast in Kosar area of tehsil Khar in Bajaur Agency on Monday. Political officials said member of peace committee Abdul Qadar Khan was in vehicle along with his family members when targeted with a remote-controlled bomb in Kosar area, 10km from Khar.
After the incident, members of village committee and local people rushed to the area and shifted the injured to Agency Headquarters Hospital Khar, where Abdul Qadar succumbed to his injuries. The injured were identified as Wasid Khan, Gulab Khan and minor girl Safia Bibi.
