Commodore Akbar posted 18th Commandant PMA

Commodore Akbar Naqi SI (M) has posted as 18th Commandant Pakistan Marine Academy. He is bestowed upon Chief of the Naval Staff Letter of Commendation. He has served as Naval Commander West (Balochistan Coast), Station Commander (Navy) Lahore and various ships and establishments. Commodore Akbar Naqi SI (M) has done his MSc (War Studies) and different professional courses from National Defence University (Canada), Armed Forces War Course (NDU Pak), International Defence Management Course (USA) and Pakistan Navy War College.
Pakistan Marine Academy is the only institutions providing training to seafarers. It enjoys status of Regional Branch of World Maritime University Malmo (Sweden). Pakistan Marine Academy is an important institution for training merchant navy officers.-PR
