Shujaat-Khosa meeting boosts efforts towards uniting PML factions

Pakistan Muslim League-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has boosted his efforts in a bid to unite different factions of Muslim Leagues and also form a grand alliance against the present government. In this regard, Shujaat held a meeting with former Punjab governor Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khosa at his residence, here on Monday. Shujaat apprised Khosa about his efforts aimed at unification of different factions of the Muslim League.
He also shared his recent meeting with Pervez Musharraf, sources said. During the meeting, views were exchanged on current political and economic situation besides various options aimed at unification of different factions of Muslim League. Sardar Zulfiqar Khosa warmly greeted Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, MNA Tariq Bashir Cheema and Sardar Maqsood Leghari. The meeting lasted for more than one and half hours in which former Chief Minister Punjab Dost Mohammad Khosa was also present.
After the meeting, Shujaat Hussain told media persons that train of alliance of Muslim Leagues has started its way and every Muslim Leaguer will be taken on board, besides Muslim Leagues alliance will also be formed with other political parties. Shujaat said that Muslim League is Pakistan's creator party and ray of hope for the people, we will unite all Muslim Leaguers whether in the government or elsewhere.
He said the way we are moving onward, a caravan will keep moving forward, everyone has understood that only Muslim League will bring about a change, Sardar Zulfiqar Khosa and our objective is the same, people who have left Muslim League we will bring together, he added. In reply to a question, Shujaat said that Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was also earlier Secretary General of the Muslim League. He said that we would go to all four provinces as well as Azad Kashmir and bring all Muslim Leaguers on one platform.
Sardar Zulfiqar Khosa and Dost Mohammad Khosa said that they fully endorse the efforts of Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and are with him. They said that N-League is not Muslim League because they themselves call it Nawaz League which is a personal league, by taking a timely decision Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has infused a spirit to alliance of Muslim Leagues, together we will move forward for one objective.
