Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Sardar Mahtab Ahmad Khan has directed administration of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University (SBBU), Sharingle Dir District to adopt broader mechanism and follow better financial discipline in line with rules and regulations of finance department. While chairing the senate meeting of SBBU, he said that it would also improve the quality of education in the larger interest of students and the community.
Vice Chancellor of the university, Special Secretary Higher Education Department, Secretary Finance, Chief Information Commissioner and other concerned officials also attended the meeting. The Governor said that the university was an autonomous body and its administration should manage better financial discipline in an appropriate way to minimize budgetary expenditures, remove deficit and ensure positive changes in the academic priorities.
