The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Nasir Khan Durrani on the complaint of a citizen has suspended SHO Sheringal and ordered departmental inquiry against him. According to details a citizen of Dir Upper namely Javed Hassan presently posted as SST teacher in Peshawar has submitted a written application to IGP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa wherein he alleged that his opponents party harshly beaten and disgraced his tenant (Sahibzada), who is dumb.
When he went to the police station Sheringal, the SHO with the connivance of his opponents registered an FIR of rape against his Tenant (Sahibzada) while the report of tenant entered into daily dairy. The IGP checked the allegations through DIG Enquiry and Inspection CPO who in his report termed the allegations correct. The IGP in light of the report of DIG E&I suspended SHO Rahman Yusuf for his miss conduct with immediate effect and further ordered departmental inquiry against him for major punishment.
