Chief Election Commissioner Pakistan (ECP) Sardar Raza has on Saturday absolved all the commission members of their administrative authorities. According to sources, CECP has absolved all the provincial chiefs of the Election Commission of the administrative authorities, keeping with him all the authorities including appointments and transfers. The commission members will only have the right to voice their opinion in judicial matters. Reports said that the commission members were not consulted on the recent appointments of high officials. ECP members have expressed concerns over the developments.
