Cricket teams of Sri Lanka and Bangladesh have hinted to visit Pakistan in near future, Punjab Minister for Sports, Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan said. Rana has congratulated the whole nation, national cricket team, administration and security agencies at successful tour of Zimbabwe cricket team. He said that arrival of Zimbabwe cricket team would prove first drop of water and more teams would visit the homeland in future.
Rana praised Zimbabwe cricket team over expression of best sportsmanship and thanked them for visiting Pakistan. He said that discipline shown by cricket lovers is praiseworthy. The government will ensure all possible steps to provide best sports facilities to the people, he added. He also hoped that national cricket team would continue its excellent performance and earn good name for the homeland.
Rana appreciated the role of security agencies for making best security arrangements for cricket matches. He said it is vision of Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif that soft image of Pakistan can be developed by promoting sports. Sports and Youth Festivals were successfully organized according to this spirit, he added. He said that the policies of government have ensured revival of international cricket in Pakistan.
