Rising trend on grain market

An upward trend prevailed on the wholesale grain market on Thursday in the process of modest trading, dealers said. On the grams side, Grams Australia No 1 gained Rs 300 to Rs 7500, Grams Dall Australia rose by Rs 700 to Rs 8000, grams 50x50 picked up 875 to Rs 6875 and grams Dall 50x50 also gained Rs 800 to Rs 7300, they said. On the seeds sector, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh low type gained Rs 25 to Rs 1600 and the good type was up by Rs 50 to Rs 1675 on slight improvement in demand, they said. Prices were unchanged on the rice and cereals sectors, they said.
