Salman Khan promotes ex-beau Aishwarya Rai’s ‘Fanney Khan’ on his show

Actors Anil Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are busy promoting their upcoming movie 'Fanney Khan' on different platforms and one of these latest promotions happened at Salman Khan’s show 'Dus Ka Dum'.

Anil, along actress Pihu who plays the role of his on-screen daughter, made an appearance at Salman's show. However, Aishwarya and Rajkummar, who are also a part of the cast, were absent. While it is still unknown why Rajkummar did not turn up for the show, Aishwarya, on the other hand, is holidaying with her husband Abhishek Bachchan and daughter Aradhyaa in Europe.

Despite having personal issues with his ex-beau Aish, Salman promoted her movie on his show. Since their breakup in 2001, till date the two avoid each other. Salman and Aishwarya have never shared screen space after their 1999 film ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’. The two have also kept at arm's length at public events.

Although Aishwarya did not come to the show for obvious reasons, but she did make her presence felt on the show through her song. One of the songs from the film was also screened on the screens of the sets and Salman didn’t quite mind watching her dancing onscreen.

'Fanney Khan', which will hit the theatres on August 3, is an Indian adaptation of Dutch film ‘Everybody's Famous’. The film revolves around a father who dreams of his teenager daughter becoming a singer but somewhere her weight acts a hindrance. Desperate for his daughter to get some attention from music industry, he holds a famous singer hostage.
