Teaser of ‘Kasauti Zindagi Ki 2’ makes fans nostalgic

Popular Indian drama series ‘Kasauti Zindagi Ki’, which broadcasted back in 2001 to 2008, is back with a bang with its season 2 after almost 10 long years.

Introducing Erica Fernandes in lead roles, director and producer Ekta Kapoor shared the first teaser of the drama on social media. “Love never dies!!! When u think it’s over it returns! Here it is,” she wrote.

The promo song will surely make ‘Kasauti Zindagi Ki’ audience reminisce the time when the the drama was a hit back in 2000s, as the season 2's promo song has been kept parallel with the similar costumes and sets.

Erica will be seen the role of Prerna, which was portrayed by Shweta Tiwari in the previous season. However, the lead actor for the role of Anurag Basu has still not been announced. The actor can’t be clearly seen in the recently released promo as well.

As per few Indian media reports, actor Hina Khan was roped in to play Komolika in the show, however, there has been no confirmation from her side.

The lead stars of the original soap are quite excited as they congratulated Ekta for her new show and wished her all the best. “Wow! Congratulations and all the best for the new TV?saga. Title song looks amazing,” Shweta commented on the video.

Ronit Roy also expressed his feeling he wrote, “All the very best to everyone involved. [The drama is] closest to my heart! I doubt anyone would be happier than me at the return. Please give me one scene in the show.” Urvashi Dholakia who is famous for her negative character also made heart emojis on the the post.

Fans too could not contain their excitement, as many took to social media to express their excitment for the upcoming drama.

Wasn't born when Kasauti aired but whatever story line I've heard is making me go bonkers 😂🙊
