On the instructions of MQM chief Altaf Hussain, the party has appointed Mian Atiq, member Rabita Committee, as head of the five-member MQM media committee for Punjab, MQM Central Punjab spokesman Zaigam Ali told Business Recorder, here on Thursday. He said that the committee would make contacts with the electronic and print media persons for the projection of party's programme in the biggest province of the country.
The other members of the media committee are Yasir Awan, Farhan Sheikh, Zaigam and Alam Shair Randhawa. It may be added that the party had decided to launch mass-scale membership campaign in Central Punjab for broadening its organisational structure in the province.
