More dengue cases reported in Karachi

KARACHI: At least 20 more dengue fever cases were reported from Karachi in a week, taking the reported cases’ toll to 422 in the city since 1st January 2018.

As per weekly report issued by Prevention and Control Program for Dengue in Sindh as many as 20 new dengue fever cases surfaced in the megacity within a week.

In June, a total 18 dengue positive cases were detected across the city. No case was reported from other districts of province this month so far.

This year, a total 447 dengue cases have been reported across Sindh province out of them 422 in Karachi and 25 from rest of province.

A dengue death was also reported in Karachi this year.
