On Wednesday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMEX) value traded increased by 27.11 percent to PKR 2,338 million from PKR 1,839 million on Tuesday. Number of lots traded was reported at 12,361 and PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,021. Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 1,291 million, followed by crude oil (PKR 694 million) and silver (PKR 351 million). There was 110 percent increase in crude oil volume to PKR 694 million from PKR 331 million.
