For all those who always want a good view from their hotel room at their holiday, Maldives has got you covered as a luxury hotel residence undersea in Indian Ocean will soon be opened there, making it the first of its kind in the world.

Already being the most popular holiday destination for people around the globe, Maldives is ready to take its tourism game to a whole new level by announcing the world’s first underwater hotel residence at one of its luxury hotels Conrad Maldives Rangali Island.

Although there have been other countries with underwater luxury rooms, but they are built under man-made aquariums. The upcoming villas provide an even real experience to the visitors as they will be staying in a villa built under deep sea with exquisite view of real marine environment.

Along with unparalleled sight of the ocean from the room’s all-glass ceiling, the two-floor villa also has an infinity pool, ocean-facing bath tub and a gym.

With estimated price of $50,000 a night, luxury residence ‘The Muraka’ is going to welcome its first guests later this year in November, says Architectural Digest.

“We are excited to present Muraka’s unique sleeping under the sea experience to our future guests, providing them with an extraordinary seascape of the Maldives from an entirely new perspective,” says the hotel’s general manager.

The island has also bagged the title of making the world’s first all-glass undersea restaurant Ithaa some 13 years ago.
