LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif had meeting with Member of the European Parliament Mary Fatima Khan Holch.

The chief minister warmly welcomed the Member of the European Parliament. Mary Fatima Khan Holch thanked Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif for her warm hospitality.

The meeting discussed the promotion of agriculture, IT and technology, as well as trade-related matters.

Mary Fatima Khan Holch appreciated the public welfare projects being implemented in Punjab. The European delegation also lauded the Minority Card initiative and other measures taken by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif for the welfare of minorities.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif said that the European Union (EU) is Pakistan’s second-largest trading partner.
