KARACHI: Shipping activity was report at the port where three ships, APL Antwerp, Mustang and Alisa-1 carrying Container, Gasoline and LPG, berthed at Qasim International Container Terminal, FOTCO oil Terminal and Sui Southern Gas Terminal on 30th Sept.
Meanwhile seven more ships, SLS Topaz, Elisabeth, Bao Feng Hua-1, Clearocean Mustang, Ginga Bobcat, Medi Roma and New Horizon scheduled to load/offload Container, Bitumen, Palm oil, Mogas, Chemicals and Coal also arrived at outer anchorage during last 24 hours.
A total of eleven ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them two ships, APL Antwerp and Corona left the port on Thursday morning, while four more ships, Panasiatic, OBE Lotus, Pasco Berke-I and Mustang expected to sail on Thurs day afternoon.
Cargo volume of 120,931 tones comprising 92,929 tones imports cargo and 28,002 export cargo carried in 2,132 Containers (1,193 TEUs Imports & 939 TEUs Export)was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 22 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them six ships, Mount Fuji, Queen Sarah, Torm Innovation, Henrietta Kosan, Star Opal and SLS Topaz & another ship ‘MSC Vanessa’ carrying Palm oil, Soya Bean Seed, Gasoline, Chemicals, Coal and Container are expected to take berths LCT, FAP, FOTCO, EVTL, PIBT and QICT respectively on Thursday 1st October, 2026.
