KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Labour, Human Resources and Social Protection Saeed Ghani on Wednesday visited Saylani Zaitoon Ashraf IT Park and praised Saylani Welfare International Trust for its humanitarian, educational and technology initiatives.
Saeed Ghani said Saylani had established a strong reputation in Pakistan and abroad through the scale and quality of its social and educational services. “I am a great admirer of Saylani because its services extend beyond Pakistan to several countries, earning the organisation recognition internationally,” he said while speaking to students at the IT park.
The Minister was received by Afzal Chamdia, Head of the Saylani Education Board, and Muhammad Ghazal, Chief Operating Officer of Saylani Welfare International Trust.
During the visit, Saeed Ghani was briefed on the facilities and educational programmes at the Zaitoon Ashraf IT Park. Chamdia outlined Saylani’s major information technology initiatives and its efforts to equip young people with digital skills suited to the evolving job market.
He said many Saylani-trained students were now earning through freelancing, contributing to their families and the national economy. He commended the organisation’s efforts. Its distinguishing feature was its emphasis on excellence in every field it undertook, he noted. “Whatever initiative Saylani undertakes, it strives to deliver with excellence. When people work sincerely for the betterment of humanity, Allah Almighty provides support in ways that can be beyond expectations,” he said.
Referring to the rapid expansion of information technology and artificial intelligence, the Minister said technological advancement was reshaping the global economy and creating new opportunities for young people.
