Activities of Port Qasim

KARACHI: A total of eight ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them a containers ship ‘MSC Glory-R’ left the port on Tuesday morning, while another bulk cargo carrier ‘Jahan Moni’ is expected to sail on Tuesday afternoon.

Cargo volume of 94,528 tones comprising 82,934 tones imports cargo and 11,594 export cargo carried in 1,830 Containers (1,830 TEUs Imports & 0 TEUs Export)was handled at the port during last 24 hours.

There are 14 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them two ships, Jahan Sister-I and Waimea & another ship ‘BSG Bimini’ carrying Coal and Container are expected to take berths PQPET, PIBT and QICT respectively on Tuesday 18th August, 2026.
