LAHORE: As many as six Pakistani companies are set to participate in Texworld & Apparel Sourcing Paris 2026, one of Europe’s leading trade fairs for the textile and apparel sector, scheduled to be held from August 31 to September 1, at Paris Le Bourget.
According to a spokesperson for the organisers, the 59th edition of the twice-yearly fair is expected to bring together around 1,300 manufacturers from nearly 35 countries, offering professional buyers a comprehensive sourcing platform for fabrics, apparel, accessories and innovative textile solutions.
The spokesperson said the exhibition would feature a strong international presence, with Pakistan, Bangladesh, China, India, Turkiye, Myanmar, South Korea, Japan and Italy among the key markets represented, alongside manufacturers and suppliers from other major production centres worldwide.
Giving details of Pakistan’s participation, the spokesperson said the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) would facilitate five Pakistani companies, Asad Enterprises, Fashion Channel, Garment Resources, Ruqi Sports and ZK International, under its dedicated pavilion in the Apparel Sourcing section.
A sixth Pakistani company, AK Traders, will participate independently in the Texworld section, the spokesperson added.
The fair will provide Pakistani exhibitors with an opportunity to showcase their products, engage with international buyers and explore new business opportunities.
The participation reflects Pakistan’s continued efforts to promote quality, innovation and sustainable production while strengthening its global trade ties in the textile and apparel sector, the spokesperson said.
