KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 175,835 tonnes of Cargo Comprising 110,231 of Import Cargo and 65,604 tonnes of Export Cargo during last 24 hours, ending at 0700 hours.
The Total Import Cargo of 110,231 tonnes Comprised of 41,802 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 31,826 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, 3,050 tonnes of Canola, 1,463 tonnes of Lentils & 35,140 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
The Total Export Cargo of 65,604 tonnes Comprised of 35,302 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 28 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, 6,270 tonnes of Cement, 17,200 tonnes of Clinkers, 4,304 tonnes of Loose Bulk Cement & 2,500 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
Approximately, 07 ships namely, Tan Binh 279, Apl Chongqing, Hua Chuang 66, Nyala, One Reliability, Pvt Clara & Aliakmon berthed at the Karachi Port Trust.
Around, 08 ships namely, Al Karama, Slogen, Wimot, Pacific Debbie, Feng Hai 999, Kota Primrose, Sidra & Montok sailed from the Karachi Port Trust.
PORT QASIM
A total of ten ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them five ships, AP Dubrava, Evanthia, Madha Silver, Portofino and Malak are expected to sail on Monday.
Cargo volume of 109,893 tones comprising 105,392 tones imports cargo and 4,501 export cargo was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 12 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them four ships, Sibi, Sea Conger, SK Resolute and OBE Queen & two more ships, Spirit of Bertram and Hua Chuang scheduled to load/offload Rice, Palm oil, LNG, Coal and Container are expected to take berths MW-1, LCT, EETL, MW-4 and QICT respectively on Monday 27th July, 2026.
