ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Model College for Girls (IMCG) Tarlai has successfully launched its two-week Summer School & Fiesta 2026, attracting an overwhelming response from students of the entire Nilore sector eager to enhance their skills through a wide range of educational and creative courses. The Summer Schools and Fiesta is an initiative launched by the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) under the auspices of the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training.
The Summer Fiesta event at IMCG Tarlai was formally inaugurated by Area Education Officer (Nilore Sector) Dr Khalid Mahmood, who attended the opening ceremony as the chief guest. Principal IMCG Tarlai and Kausar Parveen warmly welcomed the distinguished guest and joined him in performing the ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the official commencement of the event.
Principal IMCG Tarlai, Kausar Parveen, also extended her gratitude to the respected principals of different institutions of the Nilore Sector for their gracious presence and unwavering commitment to promoting co-curricular excellence and holistic student development.
Designed to provide meaningful learning opportunities during the summer break, the two-week Summer School & Fiesta at IMCG Tarlai offered 12 diverse courses, the largest number being offered by any institution in the capital, aimed at fostering creativity, confidence, communication skills, and practical learning among students.
