KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 222,778 Tons of Cargo Comprising 158,246 Tons of Import Cargo and 64,532 Tons of Export Cargo during last 24 hrs ending at 0700 hours.
The Total Import Cargo of 158,246 Tons Comprised of 57,032 Tons of Containerized Cargo, 17,424 Tons of Bulk Cargo, 4,846 Tons of (Dap), 1,6517 Tons of Soya Bean Seeds, 6,517 Tons of Total Bulk, and 37,960 Tons of Liquid Cargo.
The Total Export Cargo of 64,532 Tons Comprised of 39,947 Tons of Containerized Cargo, 1,785 Tons of Bulk Cargo, 19,000 Tons of Clinkers, 19,000 Tons of Total Bulk, and 3,800 Tons of Liquid Cargo.
Three ships namely Hansa Europe, Geum Gang, and Zhong Gu Ri Zhao are at berth at Karachi Port Trust.
Seven ships namely Hong Da XIN TIAN JIN, Marianne Danica, Marine XENA, Marine ISTA, CMA CGM Melisande, ALL MANHAL, and Hansa Europe sailed from Karachi Port Trust.
Port Qasim
Shipping activity remained active at the port where five ships namely, Bermondi, Chirs GR, Zest, Ginga Courage and Khairpur scheduled to load/offload Cement, Rice, Bitumen, Chemicals and Mogas, berthed at Multi-Purpose Terminal, Grain Terminal, Engro Terminal and Oil Terminal respectively on Sunday, 14thJune-2026. Meanwhile two more ships, Globe Danae and Rhine carrying Soyabean seeds and Palm oil also arrived at Outer Anchorage of Port Qasim during the last 24 hours.
A total of ten ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them two ships, Apageon and African Finfoot left the port on Monday morning while another ship, Ginga Courage is expected to sail on today afternoon.
Cargo throughput of 79,822 comprising 78,375 tonnes imports cargo and 1,447 tonnes export cargo was handled at the Port, during the last 24 hours.
There are 14 ships at outer anchorage of the port, out of them two ships namely, Meghna Venus and Kouros Diamond and two more ships Hansa Europe and MSC Vida X carrying Coal and Containers are expected to take berths at HFP&S, PIBT and QICT respectively on Monday, 15th June-2026.
