Massive fire destroys mini-market in Kharian

ISLAMABAD: A massive fire engulfed a mini-market in Kharian on Saturday, reducing six shops and two loader rickshaws to ashes and causing heavy financial losses to traders.

According to rescue officials, the fire erupted in a mini-market located on Kotla Sadwal Road in Kharian. Upon receiving the emergency call, Rescue 1122 teams rushed to the scene and launched an operation to contain the blaze, private news channel reported.

Rescue sources said six shops were completely destroyed in the incident. Goods stored inside the shops, along with two loader rickshaws worth millions of rupees, were reduced to ashes, causing substantial financial losses to the owners.
