KARACHI: With the transportation of more than 53,000 intending pilgrims to Saudi Arabia, PIA’s pre-Hajj operation has concluded on May 21, 2026.
According to the PIA officials, the airline, which successfully maintained an overall 97 percent flight punctuality, has operated 210 flights to Jeddah and Madinah during its pre-Hajj operation.
PIA exceeded the expected punctuality of Hajj flights by 7 percent through optimized ground turnaround times and efficient service, a PIA spokesman said, adding that the airline operated flights from Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Sialkot, Faisalabad, and Quetta.
The airline has planned to commence its post-Hajj operation from May 30, 2026, which will be concluded on June 30, 2026.
