Eid holidays announced

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has officially announced a three-day public holiday for Eid-ul-Azha, confirming that the country will observe holidays on 26, 27 and 28 May.

According to the notification issued by the Cabinet Division, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has approved public holidays on May 26, 27, and 28.

The moon was sighted in several cities, including Rawalpindi, Peshawar and Mardan, which led to the nationwide confirmation of the religious festival’s date.
