Indonesia president says 2027 fiscal deficit target range at 1.8% to 2.4% of GDP

JAKARTA: Indonesia’s President Prabowo Subianto said on Wednesday the country’s fiscal deficit in 2027 is set at a target range of 1.8% to 2.4% of GDP.

The president in a rare address to parliament also said 2027 gross domestic product growth was targeted at between 5.8% and 6.5%, with inflation for that year in a range of 1.5% to 3.5%.
