LAHORE: Provincial Minister for Information, Azma Bokhari, shared a video on the social media platform X showcasing the renovated look of Lahore’s historic Ichhra Bazaar, while strongly praising the development vision of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif.

She stated that the people of Punjab do not take pride in their Chief Minister without reason; rather, her performance speaks for itself.

In her statement, Azma Bokhari said that Maryam Nawaz fully deserves this appreciation, as she has transformed the province within a short period. Expressing her delight over the new and attractive appearance of Ichhra Bazaar, she remarked, “MashaAllah! The new look of Ichhra Bazaar makes me want to visit it myself.”

The Provincial Minister further added that not only Lahore, but beautification projects are progressing rapidly across all cities of Punjab under the special directives of the Chief Minister. Citing examples of Lahore’s Anarkali Bazaar, Faisalabad’s Ghanta Ghar Bazaar, and Rawalpindi’s Raja Bazaar, she said these historic locations have now become visually impressive, offering facilities of international standards to the public.

Azma Bokhari reaffirmed that Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s vision is to make every city in Punjab as beautiful, modern, and well-facilitated as Lahore. These ongoing projects are not only restoring the aesthetic appeal of cities but are also boosting commercial activities across the province.
