KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 149,713 tonnes of Cargo Comprising 117,805 tonnes of Import Cargo and 31,908 tonnes of Export Cargo during last 24 hours, ending at 0700 hours.
The Total Import Cargo of 117,805 tonnes Comprised of 79,060 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 978 tonnes of Canola, 1,216 tonnes of Chickpeas, 36,551 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
The Total Export Cargo of 31,908 tonnes Comprised of 10,289 tonnes of Containerized Cargo,649 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, 2,718 tonnes of Cement, 16,400 tonnes of Clinkers & 2,239 tonnes of Rice.
Approximately, 07 ships namely, Bai Cha Bridge, Yasmin, Ts Kelang, Northern Parctise, MT Lahore, Apl Paris & Libra berthed at the Karachi Port Trust.
Around, 05 ships namely, Erlin, Zhong Gu Xi, Lian Star, Bow Tribute & Msc Eric sailed from the Karachi Port Trust.
PORT QASIM
A total of four ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them a containers ship ‘MSC Unific-VI’ left the port on Tuesday morning & another containers ship ‘Al-Bert-P’ expected to sail on Tuesday.
Cargo volume of 79,991 tones comprising 74,449 tones imports cargo and 5,542 export cargo carried in 1,559 Containers (1,233 TEUs Imports & 326 TEUs Export)was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 16 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them a bulk cargo ship ‘Primavera-II’ with Coal expected to take berths PIBT respectively on Tuesday 12th May, 2026.
