Safa International Future Of Finance Summit 2026: Message from Md. Humayun Kabir, President, South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA)

It gives me immense pleasure to extend my heartfelt greetings on the occasion of the SAFA International Summit 2026 being organized by ICMA International in Lahore, Pakistan under the theme “Shaping the Future of Finance” and the conference theme “Reimagining Accountancy: Sustainability, Technology, and the Future of Trust.”

This prestigious summit reflects the collective commitment of the accounting profession towards innovation, sustainability, digital transformation, and strengthening public trust in the financial ecosystem. At a time when the global economy is evolving rapidly, forums such as this provide an excellent opportunity for regional collaboration, knowledge sharing, and professional advancement among SAFA member bodies and stakeholders.

On behalf of SAFA, I extend sincere congratulations to ICMA International on the remarkable milestone of completing 75 years of excellence and service to the profession. Over the decades, ICMA International has played a significant role in advancing the accountancy profession, promoting ethical standards, and contributing towards economic and corporate development in Pakistan and the South Asian region.
