Shehbaz, Nawaz discuss political, economic situation

LAHORE: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with PML-N President Nawaz Sharif at Jati Umra, where they discussed the country’s political and economic situation.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif briefed Nawaz Sharif on the prevailing economic conditions as well as developments in the international situation.

Nawaz Sharif stressed the need for both the federal and Punjab governments to adopt policies aimed at controlling inflation and reducing the burden on the public. He emphasized that efforts must be made to minimize the difficulties faced by citizens.

The meeting was also attended by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, who participated in discussions on governance and public welfare matters.
