LAHORE: The Punjab government has decided to launch a community development project aimed at supporting low-income families; this project will construct more than 1,600 houses with easy and low-interest instalment plans.
“In the initial phase of the Punjab Affordable Housing Programme, a proposed plan for Faisalabad and Khanewal has been prepared. The Punjab government will also offer subsidies to help deserving families obtain these constructed units,” Punjab Housing Minister Bilal Yasin said while chairing a meeting on Tuesday.
