SAARC Chamber of Commerce & Industry: Message from Suraj Vaidya, Former President, SAARC CCI (Nepal)

South Asia remains one of the least economically integrated regions in the world despite its immense potential. The inauguration of the SAARC Chamber of Commerce & Industry Headquarters is therefore a timely and meaningful step toward strengthening regional engagement.

This institution has long served as a bridge among the private sectors of the member countries, encouraging dialogue, partnership, and greater economic cooperation.

A permanent headquarters will further enhance these efforts by providing a stronger institutional platform for collaboration. I congratulate SAARC CCI on this achievement and remain confident it will help advance regional connectivity, business cooperation, and shared prosperity across South Asia.
