KARACHI: A free health camp was organized at the Hawke’s Bay Younisabad Basic Health Unit under the auspices of Kharadar General Hospital School of Nursing. Hundreds of deserving patients of the area were provided with free check-ups, tests, medicines, spectacles and other facilities in the camp.
Inaugurating the camp, the hospital’s president, renowned industrialist Muhammad Bashir Janmuhammad, said that the country is going through critical economic conditions and the lives of the common man are facing difficulties due to increasing inflation. In these circumstances, it is our national responsibility to take steps to improve the lives of the common man. The free health camp of Kharadar General Hospital School of Nursing is a high example of human service. The dedication and compassion with which the nursing students have made this effort is commendable.
On this occasion, Director of Nursing Sindh Najma Mangi said that through the true spirit of human service and professional ethics, the nursing workforce can deal with the challenges faced by the health sector.
