The note of appreciation came during a telephone call between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister (DPM/FM) Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar and the UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper.
They exchanged views on the recently held direct US-Iran negotiations in Islamabad, as well as broader regional developments.
