KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Local Government, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, conducted an emergency visit to various parts of the city to review the situation caused by recent heavy rains and issued directives for immediate action to the concerned authorities.

According to details, the minister visited Shahrah-e-Faisal, Shaheen Complex, M.A. Jinnah Road, KDA Chowrangi in Liaquatabad, Numaish, Garden, and Sohrab Goth, among other areas. During the visit, he inspected drainage arrangements, road conditions, and civic facilities to assess the impact of rainwater accumulation.

Deputy Mayor Karachi Salman Abdullah Murad, along with chairmen of different towns and municipal officials, accompanied the minister.

Syed Nasir Hussain Shah also met representatives of various political and social organizations, receiving detailed briefings on public complaints, ongoing work, and issues arising due to the rainfall.
