Wapda observes ‘Earth Hour’

LAHORE: Wapda observed Earth Hour by switching off lights on the iconic Wapda House on Saturday for an hour from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm, in solidarity with the global call for environmental stewardship.

Earth Hour is more than a symbolic hour of darkness. Spokesman of Wapda said, “Wapda views this occasion as a reminder that water and energy security must go hand in hand with ecological responsibility.”
