FAISALABAD: The Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) ensured uninterrupted power supply to consumers across the region during the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays. On the special directives of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Engr Muhammad Aamer, a special monitoring cell was established at FESCO Headquarters to oversee continuous electricity during the Eid holidays. Additionally, dedicated teams were formed for the prompt resolution of consumer complaints, which were personally supervised by the CEO.
During Eid-ul-Fitr, the electricity demand in the FESCO region remained around 859 MW, while the company was allocated 979 MW. Due to this balance between supply and demand, no Load Management was carried out in any of the eight districts of the region.
Senior FESCO officials closely monitored load management, LT/HT breakdowns, and individual consumer complaints throughout the holidays. They also ensured immediate restoration in case of emergencies or power outages and kept the CEO continuously updated on all operations. To deal with any emergency situations, operational staff was deployed, and transformer trollies along with additional equipment and materials were provided to ensure quick replacement of faulty transformers or other equipment, thereby maintaining uninterrupted electricity flow.
