ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday ordered that salaries for federal government employees be released ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr holidays, ensuring staff can celebrate the festival without financial worry.

A statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office said all federal departments have been instructed to disburse pay before 2026 Eid festivities.

The statement added that authorities have already initiated the administrative processes to implement the prime minister’s directive, aiming for timely payment to federal employees.
