KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 295,755 tonnes of cargo comprising 203,345 tonnes of import cargo and 92,410 tonnes of export cargo during last 48 hours, ending at 0700 Hours.
The total import cargo of 203,345 tonnes comprised of 124,133 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 36,038 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 4,656 tonnes of Chickpeas, 9,225 tonnes of Soya Bean Seeds, & 29,293 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
The total export cargo of 92,410 tonnes comprised of 53,518 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, 639 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 4,656 tonnes of Cement, 20,660 tonnes of Clinkers, & 3,379 tonnes of Rice.
Around, 07 ships namely, Xin Pu Dong, Apl Yabgshan, Greyman Express, Seasp Briliance, Sunny Liger, Zhong Gu Lan Zhou and No.6 Ocean Pioneer berthed at the Karachi Port Trust.
Approximately, 03 ships namely, Msc Siya B, Kmtc Manila, Largo Atom sailed from the Karachi Port Trust.
