KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 120,346 tonnes of cargo comprising 79,343 tonnes of import cargo and 41,003 tonnes of export cargo during last 24 hours, ending at 0700 Hours.
The total import cargo of 79,343 tonnes comprised of 19,718 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 7,868 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 6,033 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, 652 tonnes of Chickpeas & 45,072 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
The total export cargo of 41,003 tonnes comprised of 80 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, 30,633 tonnes of Clinkers, 3,940 tonnes of Rice, & 6,350 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
Around, 03 ships namely, Ym Excellence, Cos Lucky & KMTC Mombasa berthed at the Karachi Port Trust.
Approximately, 04 ships namely, Liao Fan, Hmm Promise, Zhong Kun 611 & Maritime Comity sailed from the Karachi Port Trust.
