LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, in a message posted on X, directs the police and district administration to understand the sentiments of the protesters and to treat them with dignity and respect.

She said arrangements are being made for Iftar for the protesters.

The chief minister stated that every Muslim is currently grieved and tearful, but maintaining peace and order in the country and in our cities is a collective responsibility.
