Activities at Port Qasim

KARACHI: Shipping activity was report at the port where four ships, Seaspan Santos, Medway Spirit, Galaxy Gas and Pioneer Gas scheduled to load/offload Container, River Sand and LPG, berthed at Qasim International Container Terminal, Multi-Purpose Terminal, Engro Vopak Terminal and Sui Southern Gas Terminal respectively on 16th February,

Meanwhile two more ships, Tan Binh-357 and Seychelles Pioneer scheduled to load/offload Rice and Palm oil also arrived at outer anchorage during last 24 hours.

A total of eight ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them three ships, Seaspan Santos, Sedra and Galaxy Gas are expected sail on Tuesday afternoon.

A cargo volume of 99,017tonnes, comprising 62,004tonnes imports cargo and 37,013 export cargo carried in 3,892 Containers (1,898 TEUs Imports & 1,994 TEUs Export)was handled at the port during last 24 hours.

There are 13 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them a container carrier ‘GFS Giselle’ is expected to take berth at QICT on Tuesday 17th February, while four more ships namely, Groton, Hansa Europe, Ren Jain 26 and CMA CGM Maupassant are dur to arrive at Port Qasim on Wednesday, 18, 2026.
