KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 223,832 tonnes of cargo comprising 138,110 tonnes of import cargo and 85,722 tonnes of export cargo during last48 hours, ending at 0700 hours.
The total import cargo of 194,483 tonnes comprised of 125,648 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 5,103 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, 204 tonnes of Lentils &61,929 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
The total export cargo of 147,377 tonnes comprised of 78,946 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 2,367 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, 24,249 tonnes of Cement, 31,058 tonnes of Clinkers,691 tonnes of Rice & 14,650 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
Approximately, 10 ships namely, Ayrin, Seaspan Santos, He Run Xiang Mao, Northern Practise, Yan Dang Shan, Predator, MT Sargodha, Greenhouse, Cspc Leo & Prabhu Nand berthed at the Karachi Port Trust.
Around, 10 ships namely, Chaser, Brahman Express, Artemissio, Xin Chang Shu, Petrokaravo, X-Press Cassiopeia, Nymph Thetis, Yc Pansy & Traveller sailed from the Karachi Port Trust.
