Pakistan HVACR Society: Advancing professional excellence across Pakistan

The Pakistan HVACR Society (PHVACRS) is the country’s leading professional body representing professionals and businesses in the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVACR) sector.

Established in 1993, the Society brings together engineers, industrialists, consultants, manufacturers, suppliers, and service providers to promote technical excellence, professional standards, and collaborative industry growth. Today, it represents a nationwide membership base of over 3,500 professionals.

The Society’s Headquarters is located in Islamabad, supported by four regional offices in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, and Faisalabad, ensuring strong institutional presence across major industrial and commercial centers. PHVACRS operates through a structured governance system comprising an Executive Council of 18 members at the national level working under the President of the Society, responsible for strategic direction and policy formulation.

Each regional chapter is managed by a Local Council of six members, working under a Chapter Chairman to implement programs aligned with the Society’s national objectives. Activities are primarily driven at chapter level, where each chapter functions as a local hub for technical seminars, professional training, networking events, and industry engagement.

The Society’s core aims include promoting knowledge sharing, encouraging adoption of modern technologies, supporting professional capacity building, strengthening industry-academia linkages, and advocating energy efficiency and sustainable practices within the HVACR sector.

One of its most significant contributions has been the continuous organization of the Pakistan HVACR International Expo & Conference. Since 1993, the Society has successfully organized 30 HVACR Expos and Conferences, including 10 editions in Islamabad, 11 in Lahore, and 9 in Karachi. What began as a modest professional gathering has evolved into Pakistan’s largest and most specialized HVACR industry platform, serving as a catalyst for innovation, business development, and international collaboration.

The 31st Pakistan HVACR International Expo & Conference is scheduled to be held from 12 to 14 February 2026 at Karachi Expo Centre, continuing the Society’s legacy of professional excellence and industry leadership.

Through strong institutional governance, regional outreach, and a clear professional mission, the Pakistan HVACR Society continues to play a central role in shaping the future of Pakistan’s HVACR industry.
