KARACHI: In an operation to safeguard public health, the Sindh Food Authority carried out a decisive crackdown against chemically adulterated milk in Malir district.
During the operation in Shah Latif Town, a vehicle loaded with chemically prepared milk was seized, and two individuals, including the driver, were arrested. Legal proceedings have been initiated against the accused.
During the operation, approximately 1,000 liters of unhygienic and adulterated milk were destroyed on the spot.
Provincial Minister for Food, Makhdoom Mehboob-ul-Zaman, stated that the seized milk posed a serious threat to human health and that such practices amount to playing with the lives of innocent citizens, which will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
