ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar and the Ambassador of China to Pakistan, Jiang Zaidong met here to exchange views on bilateral relations and regional developments.
According a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday, views were exchanged on bilateral matters and recent regional developments. Ishaq Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthening the all-weather strategic cooperative partnership between Pakistan and China.
This was the second meeting between the two dignitaries in the last few days, held at a time when media reports indicated that Pakistan has been invited to participate in US–Iran talks aimed at averting conflict in the Middle East.
