IBA holds annual career fair

KARACHI: IBA hosted its Annual Career Fair 2026, at the IBA Main Campus.

This year’s theme, “Fuel Your Future,” positioned students as drivers of their own career journeys, encouraging them to identify their strengths, explore diverse career paths, and connect with organizations that help turn ambition into impact.

The Career Fair 2026 witnessed an impressive turnout, with over 200 companies and some seasoned professionals serving as mentors. Representatives from various sectors, including banking & financial institutions, energy, oil & gas, education, research & social sector, food & beverages, information technology, media, consulting services, retail, logistics & distribution, textile, manufacturing, and pharmaceuticals engaged with the diverse pool of talented students at IBA.

In his welcome video message, Executive Director IBA, Dr.S Akbar Zaidi, thanked participating employers for their continued engagement and appreciation of IBA. He highlighted the calibre, professionalism, and potential of IBA students, noting that employers would be excited and encouraged to interact with such bright talent during the IBA Career Fair.

Additional remarks were provided by Syed Atif Murtaza Qaiser, Lecturer, IBA School of Business Studies; Faiza Faisal, Divisional Head & Lead HRBP, National Bank of Pakistan; Syed Danish Ali, Manager Organizational Development & HR, L&D Projects, Meezan Bank, and Muhammad Noman Ayub, Head of Talent Management, Pak Suzuki Motors.

The Career Fair 2026 featured a range of interactive engagement activities, including mentorship lounges, where students connected with industry professionals for career guidance, helping them gain deeper insights into their strengths and career preferences.
