KARACHI: Crescent Steel and Allied Products Limited (CSAPL) has been awarded a contract worth Rs 3.86 billion by Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Company Limited (SNGPL) for the supply of assorted-size bare line pipes, the company disclosed to the Pakistan Stock Exchange on Wednesday.

According to the company’s filing, SNGPL awarded the contract with the total contract value amounting to Rs 3,860.4 million, excluding sales tax. The contract is scheduled to be executed during the third quarter of FY 2025-26 and is expected to be completed by the first quarter of FY 2026-27.

Crescent Steel shared the development as price-sensitive information in accordance with the provisions of Sections 96 and 131 of the Securities Act, 2015, and Clause 5.6.1(a) of the Pakistan Stock Exchange Rule Book.

The company said the contract relates to the supply of assorted-size bare line pipes, which are typically used in gas transmission and distribution infrastructure projects. The award of the contract underscores Crescent Steel’s ongoing engagement with major public-sector energy utilities.

Crescent Steel and Allied Products Limited was incorporated in 1983 as a public limited company in Pakistan under the Companies Act, 1913. The Company operates five segments: Steel, Cotton, Investment and Infrastructure Development (IID), Energy and Hadeed (Billet) segment.

Crescent Steel said the contract is expected to be executed over multiple quarters, aligning with the company’s production and delivery schedules.
