LAHORE: The Water and Sanitation Agency (Wasa) Lahore and State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to provide ‘Group Life Insurance and Financial Assistance’ facilities for the employees of Wasa Lahore.
This was disclosed during a meeting that was chaired by WASA Lahore Managing Director Ghufran Ahmed; representatives from State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan, including Dr Sajjad Hassan (Divisional Head), Shahid Latif (Zonal Head, Lahore), and Shahid Khokhar (Sector Head, Lahore), were present on this occasion.
Wasa Lahore Director Administration Waseem Ahmed, in his briefing, told the participants about the progress on the ‘Group Life Insurance and Financial Assistance’ scheme for WASA employees. He averred that as a result of this initiative, an agreement has been finalised between Wasa Lahore and the State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan.
